A Bit About Matthew

Pastor Matthew grew up at Genesis his whole life, so when God called him to the position of Pastor, it was a natural fit! He gave his life to Christ at age 16 and accepted His call to preach at 17. He is a graduate of Welch College with a Bachelors in Pastoral Ministry. He has served Genesis Church his whole life, but has been on staff since August 2020 beginning with Associate Pastor, then Interim Pastor, and now Lead Pastor since September 2022. He resides in Kingsport, TN and is engaged to be married to his fiancé in June 2024!
